Having Trouble Joining the Discord Community?

Here are quick solutions for common issues you might face!

 💡 Issue 1:

"My phone is already registered to another Discord account."

Why this happens?


You may accidentally create a Discord account using your phone number if it is not currently connected to your original account.

What to do:

  • Open an incognito browser window.
  • Go to https://discord.com/login
  • Enter your phone number instead of an email address at the login screen
  • Click "Forgot your password?" (see below image)

  • Follow the instructions of the next page and provide the info from the SMS to change your password
  • Log into your account.
  • Once you regain access to your old account:
    • Click on the cog icon ⚙️ to go to User Settings > My Account
    • Remove or change the phone number
  • At this point you can also press on Delete Account if you wish to delete this account.
  • Now log in with your account and add your phone number.

💡 Issue 2:

"I forgot if I had a Discord account."

 

Try this:

  • Click "Forgot your password?" and follow the instructions to reset your password.
If the email address or phone number is not registered with Discord, it will appear as invalid on the platform.

💡 Issue 3:

"I’m not receiving the phone verification code.”

Troubleshooting tips:

  • Double-check your phone number and country code (e.g., +65 for Singapore)
  • Make sure the CAPTCHA verification is successful
  • Wait 2–3 mins before requesting again
  • Switch to mobile data (some WiFi blocks SMS gateways)
  • Restart your phone

 

💡 Issue 4:

“I’m not able to join the server after click on the invite link: https://discord.gg/piranhaprofits.”

Troubleshooting tips:

  • Check if you have an active and stable internet connection (A weak connection may cause the “Unable to Accept Invite” error.)
  • Try switching to a different Wi-Fi network.
  • Use a different device (e.g., mobile phone or tablet) to open the invitation link and log in to your Discord account
  • Email to masterclass@piranhaprofits.com / support@piranhaprofits.com to request for a new link

 

💡 Issue 5:

“I’ve joined the server but could not find the mentioned community channels.”

 

Why this happens:


You have successfully joined our Piranha Profits server. However, you may not have completed verification with the Piranha Profits Bot to gain access to the paid channels.

 

What to do:

Enable your Direct Message

  • Right click on Piranha Profits Server, click on “Privacy Settings”, enable “Direct Message”

Start chat with Piranha Profits Bot

  • Go to “🛑🚨welcome-screen 🚨🛑”
  • Click on one of the “Piranha Profits Bot” username in the message
  • A pop-up will appear and you can message the Bot
  • Follow the instructions and complete the rest of the steps

💡 Issue 6: 

“I’ve completed the steps, where do I accept the Community Guidelines in the ‘community-guidelines-channels'"

Troubleshooting tips:

  • Go to the "Community-Guidelines" channel of the specific course.
  • Read the community guidelines and agree by clicking the green button. (Please see image below)

Congratulations! You have successfully completed the onboarding process.
Please note that the community guidelines are not applicable to the Masterclass at the moment.

💡 Issue 7:

“I’ve followed the Onboarding Guide, but the bot keeps responding with a message to use a valid command.”

Troubleshooting tips:

Our bot is programmed to recognize specific commands, please ensure that you reply with your registered email address.
  • Reply in this chat with ?email your_email_address@domain.com
Example:

?email josh12345@gmail.com

💡 Issue 8:

 “I’ve followed the Onboarding Guide, but it says that my email has already been verified by another user.” 

 

Why this happens:
You may have accidentally verified your email on a different Discord account than the one you're currently using.

Troubleshooting tips:

Please ensure that you are logged into the same Discord account that is linked with us.
