How do I create an Interactive Brokers account?

Step 1: Navigate to https://www.interactivebrokers.com and click 'Open Account', then click 'Start Application'.

Step 2: Select Individuals and fill in the form

Step 3:  Receive and verify "Account Verification Email" in your mailbox

Step 4: Fill in your personal information. Ensure that "Margin" is selected for "Account Type"

Step 5: Turn on "United States" for the section on "Trading Countries"

Step 6: Agree to the relevant forms and documentation under the US regulation
