The course price that we are offering does not include taxes. As it turned out, the purchase may be subject to sales tax (depending on the country's tax laws).
Tax is charged in many countries on purchases made by customers. In those countries, the tax generally applies to any merchant selling a product or service (often including digital products like an online course) to customers. Students who are living in Malaysia/Europe/US are subjected to the SST/VAT/US Sales tax.
Do note that SST/VAT/US tax rates are determined based on a combination of factors; our payment gateway automatically collects information about a user's location based on their IP address and billing country. Once this information is collected, we use the corresponding country's current SST/VAT/US tax rate to add the appropriate tax on top of the purchase price. Requirements may vary per country.
